Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and personable receptionist to join our team on a casual or permanent part time basis (4 days a week, 25-30 hours per week). 

As the first and last point of contact, you will be integral to ensuring patients receive an exceptional experience. 

The role will include all areas of general administration/reception including answering calls, scheduling appointments, taking payments, responding to emails, invoicing, time management, cleaning between patients (and practice broadly), providing patient centered customer service, and much, much more.

 

Essential criteria

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following: 

  • Experience using booking software and taking a variety of payments (cash, EFTPOS, private health, Medicare claims, etc.);

  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to multitask;

  • Experience with general administration tasks such as banking, faxing, scanning, filing, emailing, and invoicing;

  • Willing to undertaking daily cleaning and other ad hock tasks (including stock take);

  • Enthusiastic, innovative, well-groomed, and friendly;

  • Able to show evidence of full vaccination status in line with public health order; and

  • Current police check (or willing and able to obtain)
